I sure would like to drink some beers with you sometime Redfeather. Have a nice long debate all civilized and such. I'm sure we could see eye to eye on some things and want to cross the table on others. It's kind of rare that a "four letter word" guy would have anything to do with shooting. Four letter word going both ways.
Now days it's hard for anyone to express their opinion in a civilized manner and not get EXTREME comments from those who disagree. What ever happened to "Lets sit down and discuss this?" Used to be back in the day when people of different opinions would actually debate. After the debate they would shake hands and maybe one of them would say" You know, you have a point" Now it's like if you don't agree with me then your are certainly the Anti-Christ and shouldn't even be breathing the same air as me.
As far as the starting post. Well I read it and my opinion is that if person A had a problem with person B, then person A and B should work it out. NOT resort to splashing it on the public and generating comment from others who don't have all of the info and facts in front of them. Gossip, white lies, untruthfulness, my side only comments, do nothing to resolve a dispute.
Honesty is the best policy.
I'm going to continue to shoot each day that I can and enjoy it as long as I can. I lost a good friend and co-worker this week to cancer. She was 35 years old and had kids who will not have a mother. My Uncle also died this week. He was 90 and was a war hero from WW2. Won the Bronze Star, and the Purple Heart, and a Meritorious Service Award. Came home with a broken back and worked his whole life, hard work, and never complained about it. He got a full Military Honors Funeral with Taps and gun solute.
So in short. Don't bother me with trivial disputes. They pale in comparison with the real world and have no place or influence on what I am going to do.
