Why am I not Target Shooting BB guns this weekend?

Well, Buck-A-Roos, another weekend crossing over to the very dark side and a whole afternoon of "Man Games" : 10-round rapid fire .22 target pistol, 9mm double taps of paper plates at 10 yards with the Sig, a little bench shooting at 100 yards with the Hummer, the 10/22, and the M1A.  Then some open sight, standing off-hand with a couple of mags from the ValMet and the Ruger, then the REAL MAN'S game -- standing off-hand with the M1A at 100 yards.  LOL - Try not to flinch!  I was able to hit a paper plate with 1 of 4 rounds with the MIA standing off hand.  It will hold about 2 in groups at 100 yards off a bench.  BOOOM!  Think I went through about 200 rounds of .22, 100 of .17 HMR, 100 x 9mm, 60 x .223, and 30 x .308.  Love that smell.

Yes, exactly.  I have been negligent practicing my firearm skills with the weapons that really count.  I enjoy the pistol shooting the most, I think.  Great drill to set up  two or three paper plate targets at 10 to 12 yards, then double tap, change target, double tap, change target, double tap etc.   Similar drill with the ValMet at about 25 yards with 3-rounds, change target, 3 rounds, etc.  I warm up with the .22 pistol and Ruger 10/22 then switch to the 9MM Sig and ValMet.  The 17HMR and .308 are strictly 100 yards.  Wish I had a good place to stretch out to 300 yards.

ahhhh, just another thing that I hate living in PA, can't use any semi's in hunting, everything is gota be bolt, pump or lever. I always have wanted to get a 17HMR, just never have gotten around getting it, and now their cheaper then ever... Nice collection of guns there
