Memorial Day
« on: May 25, 2009, 02:55:10 AM »
Just wanted to wish everyone a pleasant Memorial Day with their families and friends.  Hope the weather is nice wherever you are gathering to honor the sacrifices made in the past by so many to safeguard our freedom.

Also, on another note........  If you guys/gals could say a prayer for our buddy and fellow GTA member Bob (aka: dnttech).  Last time I heard from Bob was almost 2 weeks ago and he told me he was going back into the hospital for surgery due to a possibly serious complication from his first surgery.   I haven't heard from him since then and I have no way to get in touch with him.  I'm really starting to get worried about him.  Hopefully he's fine and just stuck recuperating in the hospital and has no pc access, but I've been praying for him to return to GTA soon and thought I'd ask you to do the same if you can...  Thanks.....

Hi jeff...thanks for the kind words and thoughts.  It really makes me humbled.

I actually spent a couple of days in there...God, I hate hospitals.  lol  The blood clot is getting smaller and smaller.  The meds they had me on to get it to shrink really made me sick; hence, my reason for not being on.  Sorry for worrying you, my friend.  They changed the meds on Friday of last week and I'm already starting to feel like my "old" self.

The BEEMAN is AWESOME.  Naturally I can only shoot it left handed, but I don't care.  The thing came almost dead on from Straightshooters.  I was very impressed.  Not a single one of the rifles I own, not even the Diana, can come close to this thing in terms of accuracy.  You actually have to want to mess up before she'll throw a shot.  Damn, I love this gun...lol

Anyway, thanks much for the kind words, I apologize for making you worry.
Bob
