Selling this scope to buy another one since this one is too heavy. It works well and I used it on my Patriot for some time. There are slight impressions from the mount rings as you can see in the picture.
It is illuminated reticle scope.

What is the diameter of the tube?

It is 1" diameter of the tube.
Ron, I do not know about 460 recoil but it was on my Patriot and that thing kicks like no other.
No matter what I did it kept on moving my mount backwards but scope always worked just fine. But once again I've never owned 460

I have this same scope and it is worth 2x the price.
I do not know tanaka, so I have nothing to gain. (is that Toro Tanaka?)

I have this scope on a FX Monsoon ($1400 gun), that tells you my "real" thoughts of the scope:)
Everything about it is nice-
1" tube
Mil Dot
50mm adjustable objective
The ONLY thing I would change is the weight. It is a bit heavy for a scope this size.
Now, don't let that scare you off, we are talking ounces, not pounds, LOL!! and I am very picky:)
If I had the extra $$$ I would pick it up "just to have".

Oh yeah- if it will stand up to a Kodiak or Patriot, it will stand up to ANYTHING!! RWS 34's, Gamo,s, BSA,s, etc are toys when it comes to air guns, compared to a Patriot (I would love to have one:) Maybe one day...
