Who Am I??

Where for art thou, "Who Am I"?? I could not sleep last night thinking about that thread & the responses. I dont "do" politics,, I dont know squat about politics & I admit that. Im just a bumblin Redneck from South Carolina, but,, I sure know a rattle snake when I see one. I just saw a picture of one with his "rattles" propped up on a desk,, disgusting. I may be somewhat uneducated, but,, I have run 3 small buisnesses that grossed over a million $ per year. I have also "served", carrying a Badge & a gun & am proud of that. Thus,, I am a pretty good judge of character & pretty damned hard to fool. The "author" of of "Who Am I" is a very dear friend of mine. I have spent alot of time with him,, many times 24/7. He is the REAL DEAL folks,, 100% American & proud of it. He is a true War Hero. He is very intelligent,, very skilled in many ways,,down to earth & witty with a great sence of humor. I think there was alot of over reaction to his recent thread. Lighten up guys. I cant speak for my Friend/Brother,, but,, I doubt he meant to be taken so seriously & stir up such a fuss. Now,,,, I feel just a tad better. And since my post is MIA along with the rest of the Who Am I thread,, I will say once again: I personally believe that T-Cups German Sheppard is smarter than the Rattle Snake slithering around the White House. As for the post, WHO AM I, I believe that every member on this forum should re-read the Constitution of these United States and The Bill of RIGHTS !

The FIRST of these Amendments describes The FREEDON of SPEECH ! Far too many people today only apply this to THEIR FREEDOM OF SPEECH ! and if what others are saying does not agree with them, their Political Party, Their Religion or lack of religion, it shouldNOT be allowed.

That is pure Bull Cocky ! Everyone has this FREEDOM, Equally !!!!! No one is special, no one is excluded, and no one is censored because of their opinions....

And as far as boo-hoo people, if anyone has, and is entitled to these RIGHTS, it's the Men and Women that have SERVED the Constitution, the FLAG, of OUR (MY) GREAT NATION ! Especially the Combat Veterans.

If something is posted that YOU do not agree with, YOU have the right to disagree with that post, YOU have the RIGHT to ignore that post, but YOU doNOT have the RIGHT to tell others what they can say !

NOT AS LONG AS OLD GLORY FLIES, AND OUR CONSTITUTION STANDS !

And if the post Who Am I ? offended anyone, it wasYOU that drew the conclusion , I am sure that these similarities also fit a great many other people.

Very well put Bill. I deleted the post in order to not offend any one else. And that is the only reason I deleted it. Since it was originated by me I felt I had the right to delete it. To begin with I placed it in the wrong forum which was a boo boo..:)

That document on "Who Am I" originally was sent to me by good client of mine. We so happen have the same political views and have shared many past experience and have a great deal in common. I often post these documents that he sends me in the Political and Religion forum. I realize that these are my own political beliefs and do not force anyone to read them. Also others on the GTA post similar documents or present there own views on political and religious beliefs. There is nothing wrong with that.

It is like the GTA Hunting Gate. I have written on the main menu of the GTA Hunting Forum:

"Special Note" This Forum is for air gun field hunting. There may be graphics that may not be desirable to view. "Please do not "Enter" this forum if you oppose the explicit graphics or do not condone this Sport. "Illegal Game Kills and Pictures" Do to the fact that each state and the federal laws regarding pest control and small game... The GTA asks that you know your area's gaming laws and do not incriminate yourselves with state and federal laws regarding protected species.."

I will do the same to the GTA Political and Religious Forum as well.

Lastly I am truly sorry if I have offended anyone but I take a firm stand on my beliefs.

Gene, - I liked that "Who Am I"? post very much, hate to see that you took it down. It doesn't take much effort to remember what President Bush was called - about every 20 seconds by the lefties. Now, the shoes on the other foot, - and it's sniff, sniff - my feeling are hurt. ... Where can I get a copy of that Gene?  Got a site or two I'd like to post it on.
