Need date for SDPD Range....

I just posted a new thread about another event for July 12 in east El Cajon...see link in thread for directions....don't be concerned if this is your forst match...John Harris helps eveyone with info...fee pays for range and targets....you must be there no later than 8:30 AM...as match starts at 9am...

The July match at P2k Range is set for,

Sunday the 12th

Sign up is at 8:30am (if you are at the gate at 8:00 you can get early entry)

Fee is $15. Please bring your own food and water. If we continue to enjoy the good turnout of shooters like last month, we could try to put together a pot luck lunch. We can discuss this on Sunday.

We will shoot the AGBR target at 25 yards.

Unlimited, Master, and Springer classes. If enough Junior shooters (under 18) show up, we will have a Junior class.

Talked with Danny:

We are scheduled for the San Diego Police Range for Saturday July 18 (12 PM to 5 PM). Cost is $5.00 per shooter...picnic tables/restrooms availble and you are welcome to bring family.

Suggest you bring your own targets and something to prop them up with......I'm bring my Gamo Squirrel reset target to share...

I'll see Danny next Wed and see what he suggests...

See email for questions- basically, what are we allowed to shoot at this range? Pistol, rifle, springer, PCP, full auto CO2?

You can shoot anything in the air rifle category..bring what you have...

Would it be helpful if I brought one of those portable QuikShade canopies?  Not sure what the shade situation is at the range - could be toasty.

Do they have any BBQ type facilities or just the picnic tables?

I met with Danny at the range this evening.Here is latest:

Range:
 We can shoot both 25 Yards and 50 Yards...supports/backers  for your targets will be provided. In addition,Danny is bringing some saw horses to mount the Gamo Squirrel drop targets on...(range surface is paved)...just be sure to bring you own targets...
There is shade...Lol..

Facility: Picnic tables,restrooms available and families welcome...however,young children must be supervised...there will be also an area designated for junior shooters...A Bar-B-Que  will available for use at 3 pm.....just bring some charcoal...or,your own portable Bar-B-Que..

Time: 12 Pm to 5 Pm...(I am going at 11 AM to help Danny)...
