Actually Dan, I need the room. With the Cometa and some other new air guns that I have bought my house is bulging.. As it is now I have guns in every room and next I will have to start sleeping in my shop and move my computer out there as well.. I could always gut my refrigerator and make room for 5 or 6 in there.. hehe

Okay not giving away my secret negotiation skills but I'm sure if you bought the Mercury you could get Gene to give you the same "package" deal I got.  

He agreed to mark the shipping box on my new RWS as "Hockey Stick" so the wife won't know!  I can see it now, "honey how many hockey sticks to you need?"  The next one I buy I'm going to ask to have the box labled "paint roller arm extension."  Wow I'm on to something here!  Just don't label them "curtain rods".  LMAO

The Mercury is a .177 springer Paul. It is a classic and or a collector's ventage air gun. It is like brand new and there is no marks on the stock or metal.

I can see this BSA baby laying next to a fresh squirrel harvest showing off her classic beauty as her new owner snap's a pic for the family album. She's here waiting for that special someone to sweep her off her feet.     Ed

I can understand that. I'm just getting started, and I had to buy another locking cabinet just for the airguns.
Everytime I reached in for a powder burner, I came out with an airgun.    
The good thing...is that I have been saving a lot of gas by shooting in the yard instead of going to the range.

Gene, what kinda Fps did you get out of that Royal?

If I am not mistaken Paul it was in the mid 700 fps range. You might ask Randal if he would run a string accross the chrony/

Gene I was just going over this post an noticed the BSA Mercury MK4 is not marked sold.  For some reason I thought it was but if it fell thru I will take it.
