With this in mind I have seen one particular party(name unmentioned) who time and again sells his merchandise on airguns.net(Brad's Classifieds) at much higher prices than are necessary. If you were to email this party with any attempt of talking him down you will get no response! There are a myriad of places on the web to purchase, review, and sell airgun related merchandise. When checking Brad's Classifieds this morning there were several ads put in place drawing attention to this same party whom I too have tried contacting with a purchase in mind. Search the "Wanted" listings.
Sure, we're each entitled to buying and selling at whatever pricing we wish and bidding is encouraged. It's when these ads become a nuisance that it becomes an issue and apparently it has!
We should all be aware that there are scammers out there who will and do respond as buyers and sellers alike. There are also people like the one in question who are so stiff in their approach that they simply aren't worth dealing with. Please use discretion when contacting parties that you aren't already familiar with. Gene, myself and handful of others have come in contact with some of these crooks.
It is by keeping informed that evil may lurk in any internet setting that we become aware of potential pitfalls.
Just my experience... I've seen this guy ask too much for his stuff... and it looks like it's biting him in the hoohoo!
