That's awesome.  When we saw the Yankees play (and lose!) a couple of years ago, we didn't have time to go to Monument Park.  It was a messed up day.  I left the tickets in Virginia, we got lost in the subway, it snowed, we sat next to obnoxious Baltimore fans, and the team lost the game!  At least we got to go to Yankee Stadium.

No, it was the old stadium a couple of years ago.  I'm glad I got to see it before they finished the new one.  I live in CA so it'll be a while before I can check out the new digs.  It was a treat, even if it was a bad day, because I've always been a Yankee fan and we made the road trip from West Virginia while visiting family just so we could see the Yankees play at home.  I tell you one thing, though, I'll never ever ever drive in NYC again!

Marisol, driving in The Big Apple is tough,it's even worse if your not from there, not knowing the secret routes to move about,it can be very frustrating! :0  If I go Saturday I will send you some pics,if I can get these other pics from last weeks trip downloaded, I will send them to you! I was at the first game back after 911 when they hung the actual torn flag from ground zero, that was a very memorable but very emotional night!
