To All You Fishermen Out There
« on: July 15, 2009, 02:03:49 PM »
Took a little daytrip to the Greenbrier in West Virginia to do a little golfing in a tournament

Luckily I packed the fishing pole up and had gotten a fresh can of worms the night before

After the tourney, I found a little stream off of the golf course and settled into an area with a still pool of water

Good luck struck me there - I caught a bunch of bass ( redeye and smallies included ), carp, sunfish, perch, and 4 trout ( 3 of which were the size of the one in the picture )

We had a great day there despite lousy conditions - it was in the upper 60s to 70 and overcast with the occasional drizzle on and off

Anyway Hope Everyone Enjoys The Pic!

Tylor, you did the right thing. It's always good to pack a rod and stop and fish. But overcast and cool July temps I would be happy with.Beats baking in the sun when you're trying to fish.Nice catch.thanks for sharing.

Love fishing myself and that's a fine trout there, perfect for the pan. Sound's like you had a great time buddy and hooked some dinner too. :) Ed

Tylor, your a man after my own heart.  Golfing, airgunning and fishing, it just doesn't get any better than that.   :)

Nice catch, going to Pinecrest lake in August, my nephew was telling me about the rainbows he was catching. Can't wait to catch some.
