Just in case you guys have never heard it and if you have I will say it again...Thanks. Thank you for doing your duty and defendingour rights. Though most times your supporthas gonesilent and the rights you swore to give your very lives forare often taken for granted. During wartime or not, you are appreciated here. I for one want to stand up and shout thank you for making my country a safe place for my family and myself. Never ever doubt that there is a large majority of people who feel exactly the way I do. Thanks again and God bless.:D :D

Peterdragin, A Tomb Guard, wow!  Very cool and I know it was alot of work for you to prepare.  All the knowledge, the hours prepping your uniform, the weather.  Thank you for guarding those old heroes.  You must be somewhat tall?
Plateshooter, you must have nuts that clang!!!  EOD, not for this kid!  Thank you, it must have been nerve wracking?
Thanks to all for your shared response.
Many have some interesting backgrounds.
If it weren't for the vets before me, I wouldn't have been so inspired to do my part.
Time was served, time to honor.  Know what I mean?

In South Africa, back in the mid to late 70's  we had 2 years conscription, I checked out after
the 2 years as platoon sarge and did my share in the border regions keeping the then Russian
assisted Angolan army at bay.
Lost 2 good friends.... some bad stuff and some good. Can't say I'd do it again, but I'm glad
that I went through it. I used to take a lot for granted in life before that..... don't get me wrong,
I'm still  bit of a jerk, but at least now, I know it  :D
I only eat things that had parents.
