Decided to stick with the 79a. The intention when I bought it was to give it to Dad for his birthday next week but I have 3 problems. 1 - I really like it. 2 - It's a challenge to shot accurately (not what Dad needs) and 3 - I really like it!!

Rifle: (may or may not be here next week) ((sellers picture - I haven't taken any yet))


Results, 1 Point and several x better than last week. Yes there are 4 shots on each target, I either hit in a tight group  or I flat out missed.

Holy cow JQR.....that's a very nice rifle. Get your dad a different one......



Darn it....couldn't control the impulse to drop the rifle abit to look at the bull immediately after the shot (Top right bull)....resulting in a few shots below the bull.

Shot a practice round this morning using my favorite RWS R-10 wadcutters and scored a 191-3x.  I thought "..not too bad, wonder what these cheap wadcutters would do..."    Not bad....not bad

I hope everyone has had a good week shooting...I sure have. (big grin)

I had no time to practice this past week, the two "8's" didn't make me happy, but a 189 is better than I thought I would shoot today.

Didn't get a chance to shoot this, my second favorite match, at all this week. Should be able to pull it of next week tho.  Good shootin' everyone.

Yeah, I know. The target is smaller. Drat. I messed around and didn't print any at work and my home printer sucks. I might have squeezed a couple more points.......
