We had 3 shooters including myself....Vhag and Autoduel came down to shoot...it was a fun afternoon....!!

I brought my chronogragh and both Vhag/Autoduel got good data on their air rifles....I'll be bringing it from now on....

NOW here is latest: The range has athourized me to host future matches/fun shoots if one of their coordinators can't be there...so all open dates are good now....!!
Our next open date is Saturday August 15th...I will be there to provide "backers" for your targets as Dan gave me access to the storage  locker today...
Please understand in this role I'm responsible for safety while we shoot....That's all there is to it...!!

Also, the new benchrests are almost ready for installation...so I will update you before our next shoot...following that,we plan to have 25 yard benchrest matches...so you will have a choice of that or just open target shooting.....the fees will remain same at $5.00 for "open" shooting from 12 PM -5pm....

We also have options for shooting in mornings at 8 AM or on Sundays for matches or both....but we can discuss all that at next  meet& greet and get input that accomodates everyone....

Sorry for long post, but just wanted to get latest info out to all...

Thanks,
Rich

I got to track downJim who hosted the first meet & greet at his house....have not seen him post lately....he gets credit for starting all this....and interesting is it has led to a place where we can shoot our air rifles....!!! Great stuff...

I'm glad you guys had a blast today.  Sorry I wasn't there to enjoy it.  Unfortunately next Saturday will be a no-go for me as well.  Good to hear of your "promotion" to coordinator Rich.  With more open dates we're sure to pick up more shooters as word gets around.

I just practiced my 50 yard shooting today...but neat was getting Vhag & autoduel's airguns on the chronograph....!!!  They now have some good data on their guns....

So when more show up next time,we can get everyones rifle/pistol on it and for more than one pellet if ya like.....

We shot from the far left of range today...not a good location between a wall and a conex box...LOL...wind was bouncing every where....but we had fun watching some firearm pistol shooters taking shots at targets from 10 feet..!! We were shooting 25 & 50 yards...heh...

Orange county traffic across Pendleton is insane in the early afternoon.  It took an hour to get form San Juan to Oceanside. I still got in almost 3 hours of shooting even though arriving very late. Thanks for the use of the chrony Rich.  Up until now I had no idea what I was shooting.  Thanks to Danny for spotting for me to get my scopes and sights dialed in. After trying a few Beeman pellets, Premiers and Superdomes and getting nothing but flyers,  I ran some old oxidized Daisy pointed field pellets in my 2250 carbine.  Surprisingly I saw something resembling a group.  Now to find out if they still make these.  Be back in 2 weeks.
