Am having tendon/joint problems that make the constant cocking of the Walther Falcon Hunter and a few other spring powered rifles a friend has when we go out shooting difficult. The cocking of mine and then his side lever type aggravates the problems. Add in not being able to get off a second or third shot quickly, especially from the prone position in close quarters and the AR6 is looking to come about sooner rather than later.
After shooting a couple of my friends rifles I think I am going to look for a second one with good power but less than the AR6 has. Am taking a look at the Evanix family, the blizzard or the Renegade. Would it make sense of would I possibly be better off with the new Benjamin Marauder? Does it actually hold more attraction for any good reason over getting a second pellet rifle from the same family tree? Am thinking of the second pellet rifle in .177 calibre with the AR6 in .22.
I keep reading good reports on the new Marauder but is it silly to get two different makes instead of sticking with the same family of rifles?
