That is one GORDIOUS piece of wood David!!Man I cant wait for more pics from Ya as you progress with this one!! What gun is it gonna be for? What kind of tools do you use for inletting? Very nice Buddy,,, Tim.

I also use a belt sander, drills, angle grinder, drum sander, lots of elbow grease with sand paper from 80grit to 1500grit.

I am an artist with the love for wood, metal and all other components in Big Bore air guns.

Most of my stocks are for DAQs and similar custom guns.

Where DO you get such gorgeous pieces of wood? That cherry is beautiful, as is the walnut Crosman stock you made.

I work in a Cabinet shop and the door shop is only a couple miles away.
The neat thing is that the best wood will not match all the rest of the wood for the cabinets, so I get it without too much finagling.
I have been there for 3.5 years and only got enough for a few stocks.
