.22 disco arrived today!!
« on: August 21, 2009, 05:43:43 PM »
well it finally came i was like a kid in a candy store. i put the pump together and mounted a centerpoint 4-16 AO and filled her up. a pellet pouch of pellets came with the gun so i figured id try them..well i loaded 1 and shot..loaded another and just happened to tilt the gun down and what do i see........the pellet slid out of the barrel. i compared it to a .177 and the were the same width just the ones that cam with the disco had a longer skirt..so now im upset cause im affraid i may have damaged my brand new gun that i have literally worked a month for and hard to may i add, cause a idiot packed me the wrong pellets. albeit my fault for not noticing the size difference. is my gun ruined from just 1 shot from them?

No don't worry about it.  PCP's don't get damaged from lack of back pressure in the same way a springer would.  And even springers won't be hurt much dry firing once or twice, actually according to Cardew detonation is much harder on the springs.
