Fun day again...four of us today....I only took two pics because my  photobucket account is at 437MB of 500MB max on the free account....LOL..(got to delete more old pics to make room for new pics...)

Today we got to see the new benchrest benches that Harold built...in fact Eric tried one out today and he can comment on that.......as things stand now,every Saturday is a good date begining at 9AM...we felt this time frame is better for everyone.....so just show up when you want to shoot....

We plan to conduct monthly 25 yard matches soon...with other Saturdays for open shooting & plinking....open shooting will be from 9AM till approx 3 pm.....we will post match dates soon....

This was todays target setup...the near targets were 25 yards,andfar targets 50 yards....

By the way,for the 25 yard matches,there will be dedicated target frames and benchrests provided....they will also be available for open shooting dates as well....and all this for $5.00/day  per shooter...!!!

The benches will work out just fine for recoilless type airguns.  I set my evolution up on one and the ergonimics were pretty good.  However, the recoil from the ram caused the gun to jump and miss my intended target a little high.  Steve, don't forget to post the website that you printed your target from.  Those will work out very nice for the 25m matches.

I picked up some tan construction and newsprint paper at Michael's and printed it full size on laserjet.
The whole target will fit on 11x17, but you can print 20 bulls onto a 8-1/2x11.

I had a good shoot, but need a lot more tuning and testing before I'll be ready for matches.

I know...I was bummed to miss out.  My wife and I are foster parents and had an all-day class that day for our licensing.  I've been sick as a dog so it worked out OK anyway...I would have stayed home to rest anyway.  Hope to come out this Saturday maybe by noon.

Does anyone attend the Wednesday evening event?  If so, how are they shooting (off-hand, bench) and with what (10m match rifles/pistols, etc.)?

I've been once...but they bench shoot,and shot offhand and shoot pistols offhand....about 7/8 shooters starting at 6 PM...some arrive around 5 pm or so...
