Daisy 953 ($79) for 10 yards. I kill houseflys with it from that distance. 400-500 fps. Love the 5 shot clips, and single-stroke pneumatic design. If this had wood stock and a metal lever, it'd be pretty awesome.
Remington Vantage 1200 (as low as $99 at Dicks Sporting Goods) and TF89 (currently $134 @ Compasseco.com!!!) for longer distances around 1000fps in .177
The Gamo Extreme G1 is pretty nice, and well under that budget.

G1 is a nice hard-hitting gun. Wish it had a wood stock, but the synth on it is good -- for synth.

My favorites so far are:

Pistol: any 2240, 2250 variant

CO2 :  QB78 and QB79 (preferrably tuned MM, if possible)

Springer : B26 (preferrably used and tuned, MM to get it under the 150$ mark)

PCP : this one misses by 5$, the recent sale on the Disco at $155.00

I have a Slavia 631 and a Diana 24. Both bought used and both nice, accurate, easy shooting guns for targets and plinking. Both shoot in the 500 to 600 fps range.

For under $150 I buy and shoot, and then sell to friends used Sheridan 5mm pump air rifles.  I have found several for $45 at pawn shops and gun shows.

Sunshine Airguns had .177 Discos for $155 plus about 20$ shipping for a total of $175 delivered.  I had been saving for a while for what I thought would be about a $300 gun.  Wow, I had money left over.  Well, not anymore!!!  Mama is going to kill me when she sees more than one box come in this week :p  :p  :p

I just checked Sunshine and they don't list the disco for 155 anymore.  I guess it was a one-time thing.  Not a bad deal if you caught it.

I got a bunch of cheap plinkers.

For accuracy, I second the votes for Slavia 631/634 and the Benjamin/Sheridan pumpers. The local Academy here is selling the 392 for $129.
Not mentioned was the BAM XS-B3-1 (AK clone) sidelever and the omnipresent B3-1. Another "guilty pleasure" is the Crosman 1077 - nothing like a 12-shot clip for backyard plinking....

I'm runnng out of places to hide my "bargains".  I was on vacation last week - alone. Dangerous. The Big Brown truck delivered a QB-57 and a QB36-2 (both in .177)  delivered for 155.00 from Self Defense Supply. And later a TF97 .22 combo (3x9scope and very nice soft case) for 135.00 from Airgundepot.  Somebody stop me!
Anyway, both the TF97 and QB36-2 are very smooth, accurate shooters. My favorites as of now.  Especially the TF97 in .22. The TF versions have nicer sights and stocks than their QB counterparts.
That's it for awhile... oh wait... it's payday next week. Does this obsession ever end?
But my favorite "plinker" for under $150 is the Crosman Nightstalker ($69 at Airgundepot now). It's a semi and accurate and gets lots of shots from 88oz CO2 cartridge.
