GET MY GAMO BACK TURBO TUNED 2 MORROW

Well folks I tracked my gun and should get her back tomorrow, it will be my first tuned airgun,and best of all Gene done it. I have read other members threads bout the anxiety of waiting on there gun to be tuned. I will be posting any and all the improvements I can find. Sometimes it is hard to part with something even if it is for the better,and even harder to find someone ya trust and have enuff faith in to let work on it. I have read post after post of what Gene does and I know a lot of his character after talking with him on the forum. I can say I have 100% faith in his abillity and 200% faith in his honesty. He just couldnt be making much money after all said and done,I honestly beleive he loves doin what he does and helping others in the process. He has answered the phone every time I called and took time He didnt have to tell me what I needed to know. Yeah this is a bit of a tribute to a hell of a guy and master of airguns,just look how much he is doing on this forum alone. Everytime I have posted a question He has been one reply with an answer. Well I dont want to leave anyone out so thanks to all the moderators and people that make this site worthwhile. Some people get on forums and use them without ever giving thought to the fact that someone is keeping it all held together,and I have seldom seen sites that offer so much information in such a well layed out fashion. I cant get enuff of the library,I have learned in a few months what could take years to learn without the forum.AKJC1977

I got my Big cat turbo tuned by Gene. Its a totally different beast. The first shot, you are going to expect recoil. I was like how much softer can it be. I was like ok... get ready for twang...? Wheres the twang? lol
Seriously, its that dramatic. There is no buzz afterwards either.

That is what I have been hearing, I get it today. cannot wait. Am I still gonna be able to shoot this thing? I got so used to the recoil I dont know if it will.

Man I am looking forward to Fed Ex, My wife told me not to knock him down when I answer the door,LOL  There are few reasons to get excited as a adult and father that isn't sinfull,that is what makes guns so great. And Shadow I would love to hire your artwork on a stock in the near future,Yet another delivery that would have me stoked.AKJC1977

WOW !!! What a different gun,looks the same but thats all. I cant get over the sound change, Spat is all ya hear. Even when cocking it sounds better, used to have a creeking sound now just a click at the end. As for the accuracy I have only shot a few times as It is Saturday and Everyone wants to run the roads.But if it is anything like the change in the sound and recoil it will be awesome. Thanks a million GENE !!! Is there any thing I need to do to maintain this quality or just leave it alone? I know to clean the bore every couple thousand shots but anything else?AKJC1977

Glad you are happy so far Jason. The only thing you need to do as far as maintenance is run a dry patch through her once in a while and ever 2 or 3 thousand shots run some Goo Gone on a patch and then follow with a couple dry patches.

A drop of oil on the cocking two hinge points once a year and you are set..

cdt did mine last year held on with it for the full year and what a home run the rifle use to hit no twang and the trigger pull was 1lb and 9ozs high 900,s and very accurate i sold it to a gentleman here that didnt seem to like it maybe he wanted more power but it was in perfect shootin condition i wish i still had it i never had a problem with it .but anyway u will notice the difference quickly and it will be your favorite for quite some time .great chioce to tune this rifle cause he smears it with love and majic like mike and cdt do it .i said it the other day that they walk with a wand in there back pocket cause when they come out the box they r pretty much in need of a trigger and tunes as well...have fun and shoot safe..jorge

You can quote me on this,You will never see my Viper for sale,I love it and just the history it has behind it now,ya know Gene wont be doin this forever as we all have to pay the wages of sin. Every gun I have him tune I am gonna keep,cause frankly the newer generation may have their computers and high tech but when it comes to hand magic and ingenuity most are lacking. They can tell ya how to do anything,but cant actually do anything. I do so hope to start tuning a little myself,I love tinkering but I can admit that I dont have the knowledge to do anything other than take one apart guess at what would make it better and reassemble it. Like everything no substitute for experiance. AKJC1977
