NOTICE: Schedule change for SDPD RANGE

I just received call that another school will be conducting firearm (pistol) classes on Saturdays both mornings/afternoons on the range we were using....

*****Effective today,all our open shooting and planned matches must now be held on Sundays....same time frame...9 AM - 4 PM...****

Being this is a San Diego City range,local schools get priority for Saturdays....

Sorry about late notice,but information did not filter down to the range coodinator until late yesterday...and he called me just 20 minutes ago...

What school is using the range on saturdays? Is it the San Diego Community College District (S.D.C.C.D) public safety classes?

How solid is the 4 PM time?  Sunday mornings aren't even in the question for me so I'm hoping there well be shooters around during the noon to 4 PM time frame.

I plan to come but good point - are they cool with people coming without one of the designated coordinators?  Or are the folks running the matches our ticket to shoot?  Also, what about access to the shed for target backers etc....I assume the match people have access but just curious.

See Howard about target  backers...he has combination to shed lock same as I do...they will show up about 8 am....I have a match in Temecula and will not be there...
Howard is your "coordinator"..

For info,a "coordinator is a "member" of the range...both Howard,Danny and I are members...

I'm going to try to get there around 12:30 or 1pm.  Mornings are out for me on Sundays.  I'll generally be an afternoon shooter unless the days of the week change at some point in the future.

Curious...what does it take to become a member of the range?  Invite only or is there some process?  More memberships might be worthwhile so the same folks don't have to worry if they can't make it.

Membership is available for $200/year....($120 for seniors)..see Ben at Range office...

Howard will be there at 8 AM...I expect that Danny will be there as well....I don't have phone contact for Danny..
