Just found this while looking for specs, seems like a great deal and free shipping too.
I am going to see if I can also find a coupon, it will be close to free:)

Shipping is only free when over $100.  Total came out to $33 and changes...$9.xx shipping.  btw, is it a good spotting scope? :)

I haven't bought this particular one, but have bought other rifle scopes from the same brand.  I must say that the quality is great.  For this price, you can't go wrong - seems like a great price.  The site seems to have a lot of great items for really great prices - check it out at http://www.blue-sky-products.com

Good luck and keep us posted.

at 40x the optics aren't going to be that good....you get what you pay for with $24.....don't mean to rain on your parade but hate to see you waste your money.

I agree with your assessment.  Any recommendation on a descent priced scope or binoculars?

Regarding Optics Planet, this is what I found out about their shipping policy:

https://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/opticsplanet/shipping.htm#free_shipping_offer

"Free Shipping Offer
Unless otherwise requested, we ship via insured UPS Ground FREE of charge on orders over $29.95 anywhere in the lower 48 U.S. states."

So this would also be charged shipping too, just wanted to make sure you had the right information.

a half diecent spotting scope will start around $150..konus and yukon are the lower end ones but still have acceptable clarity.  hawke is coming out with a new line of spotting scopes and binoculars but i haven't received any info on them yet.

Yep...gotta get past that 30 dollar mark for the free shipping. That's when I throw in an Accushot mount or two....or a 11mm to weaver adapter...or sumthin. There's always somethin you can find there to put you over the top.
