Surprise Birthday "trip"
« on: September 28, 2009, 04:23:33 PM »

My wife had a surprise "trip" planned for my birthday, a hot air balloon trip
early this morning.
What a blast!

I had chores to do... holding the mouth of the balloon open while the fansinflate
it with "cool" air.

It gets harder to hold onto the fuller it gets:

Getting there....

Almost to the point that they can start the fire:

A swift few blasts of hot air.....

And up she stands:

We're off....

We went up to 2800ft and got into the faster moving air and floated across the country side
Man it's sure is FLATNorth of Dallas.

We came in over McKinney and dropped down low to peep into everyones back yard.

They dunked us intoa pond as well, it was great fun.
Sharon forced me into this shot.....

it wasgreat. I had a blast.
Nowwe are offto ..... I have no clue.... I'll report back when I can.

Happy Birthday pal!  Now if I am counting this right (I have fingers stretched and socks off) I think this means you are, uhm, one year older than you were last year, so, holy moly you're old!!!!!  Hahaha!!!!  It's ok man, I'm only, uhm, uh, erm, 14 years behind ya!!!!!

Ballon ride looks like a bunch of fun, I think my wife took me to Starbucks and bought me a coffee this year for my birthday:(
