new toy coming hopefully by christmas.....
« on: October 18, 2009, 12:12:22 PM »
i'm an old street rodder from the early '70s and haven't really had a "good toy" in the past 10 years to play with.  the wife gave her "O.K" last night for me to get another "expensive" hobby.  1960 vette.   i had a '66 with the 427 cu.in. and sold it about 10 years ago.  so i've had this bad itch ( i had the doctors look at it  and it ain't the crabs!!!! )   here's the baby i'm looking at........

WOW!!!!!!!!     Good looking auto.   Has it been totally restored???   What is the engine / power train.    At one time I owned practically every muscle car out there.   It was a rush.
Been thinking of getting a new Cobra Mustang myself.  Just for fun.  Fastest car ( for quater mile ) that I ever drove was a 1970 Hemi-Cuda.  Unreal power. The Cuda was not mine though.
I primarily owned and raced  big block  Mustangs.
Gentleman of Fortune.

Hum-bug!

283 small block, 240 hp.  the electrical system was updated to accept an alternator.  has factory 4 speed.  of course i'm gonna have to change out the clutch and pressure plate to something a little more gutsy.  i made my offer and waiting for the owner to reply...... :emoticon:
