The next time 20 Boy Scouts show up,,,,, Im gonna be leaving town for some kind of "Unforseen Emergency"!!:o I gotta be painfully honest Folks,,,, My nerves are SHOT!!:0 I know it sounds bad but,,,,, I raised 3 kids,,, Im over that. I went out of my way well beond the "Call Of Duty" to see to it everyone including the 10 Fathers had a good time. IM OLD,,,, Im set in my ways & I like my peace & quiet now. (Did I mention all 3 of my own children are grown & on thier own now??) Geezzee!!:p Sorry for the rant Folks,,,, Im really beat after the last week preparing for this event & the "Event" itself has really taken a toll on me.:0 I guess it was not really all that bad,, I did enjoy parts of it. The mess left here is un real,,, the wife seems to be in a bad mood for some reason?My Fun Shoots are much better,,,,,,,,,, bunch of WELL BEHAVED old farts like us that dont destroy the place!!!!!!!8) Sunday Service in the AM tommorrow & I think most will be pulling up camp. The wife & I are ready for some peace & quiet again. Im ready for a nice relaxing Fun Shoot again!!The wife even just said: "Your Fun Shoots" Are FUN,,,,,,,,,,, this past week however,,,has been a NIGHTMARE!!:p "Old Tim".

I know what you mean ! I was involved with the Scouts for some time, and the parents are the very worst to deal with !

Hours at meetings that meant nothing and were not carried out. Weeks of proposals and promises that were never kept, I just had to say GOOD BY !

Don't grow weary in your well-doing!  You did good buddy, and went way beyond what you had to do.  Now rest!!  Take you wife out for an evening drive or maybe just a little personal campfire, or something.  Do something little just for yourselves and relax.  Remember, Jonah was swallowed by one great big fish, but most of us are nibbled to death by a million mean minnows!!! LOL  Take a little time for you and the missus and all will soon be right with the world.

All is quiet now. All I hear are acorns falling on the tin roofs!!:D The wife even left town till Tuesday!!Just me & my new drill press & all me other tools!! I feel a lil bad about my post but man I gotta tell Ya,,,,, Me nerves are shot!!:0 I even lied to my Buddy Hutch & told him I was going to Charlotte with my wife to visit my Daughter when in fact I just want the next 2 days ALL TO MYSELF!!:p I have ALOT of catching up to do on customer stocks & have some GREAT ideas on some I want to build as well!!Next time the Scouts come,,,,, I will be visiting Me Pops & Profesor Hook!!!!!:p LOL!! Any time we can help kids have fun, learn a few things and keep them off the streets is good. I was a Cub/Boy Scout leader for many years and have no regrets. It wasn't always a perfect wonderful experience but it was worth all the time and trouble I not only worked with the boy's but taught adult leadership as well so I know where you're coming from. Your good dead's have not gone unnoticed

Hey Timmy that's why I was the Cub Master. I set everything up but the leaders and the parents did the camping thing! Also they had to clean up their mess before they left any camping site or fun event! It's not nice to leave a mess. Good manners and ethics are good things to learn ya know???

The pic is lousey,,, that screen is 10 ft wide & the wrinkles dont show up in real life & the picture is clear as a bell!! It stopped raining & most are not in the picture here but spread around in a big circle watching the game. (I counted 23 heads) I thought "Church Folks" did not use "Colorfull" launguage,,,, Boy was I wrong!!:p LOL!! Bless Them Father!!:p Timbo.
