Down here in Fort Worth Texas we've been getting the occasional "looks like rain", ya know when the humidity goes up, you hope, you pray, you do rain dances, and then.....a sprinkle, just enough to make the air thick like tomato soup! Can't totally complain though, sure makes shooting CO2 powerlets have some seriously nice shot strings....on the downside, sure makes sitting on the back porch miserable while shooting your bbguns:(
Heard a little thunder this afternoon while I had my boys at the barber shop. Barber says,"Better go roll up your windows, it's raining just a couple miles away!". Ten minutes go by, then a couple thunder cracks, maybe 4 tiny drops of rain on my windshield, then tomato soup. Geez that's miserable, makes me wonder how people ever lived without central heat and air in their homes. 5 or so months from now the ground will be frozen and it'll take me 2 1/2 hours to make the 11 mile drive from work home because of icy roads. And I moved to Texas why again? Oh yea, low cost of living, friendly people, and a never ending supply of T-Bones!
