I don't know if this is essentially less of a deal than the Walther Force 1000 for $69 that has gotten so much attention on this site.

MAN...that's tempting. Have been wanting a .22 to test ballistics and accuracy against my .177s. And it's almost $100 cheaper than anyone else sells new ones for. Not a problem for me, I'd tear it down immediately anyway to service it.

Thanks and Happy Shooting!!!!

I wonder if that includes the scope and mount? Fedtactical has the Talon Magnum for $177 brand new. I think the Falcon Hunter has a nicer scope than the Talon Magnum. If they had .25 refurbs for that price that would something to look at, as that will be less than the BAM B-28 in .25, plus you'd get more power, scope and mounts. I can't say which is a "better" rifle, the BAM or the Hatsan. Many people here don't think highly of the Turkish guns, yet some love 'em.

I don't think highly of the Bam, aka B28..I shot the talon mag a few times overall seem okay to me, I pointed it at a coke can 20 yards or so away pulled the trigger..can fell over.  That was more than I could do with the B28. I heard the both the talon and falcon are known scope killers......

IMHO, the WFH is a powerhouse. I have the .25 version. With that power comes huge kick. It takes a while to master, just like the Diana 350M. I was hitting half inch ctc at 15 yards with my WFH, and hitting ground squirrels out at 50~75 yards with no problem. Then I got a Marauder, and stopped shooting my springers for several months. I just picked up my WFH yesterday for some fun, and whatever shooting technique I "had" with that baby has gone out the window. My point being that it takes some practice to master the WFH, and you need to keep that practice up, or it fades a little.

Also, note that I havent opened mine up yet, buteverything I read, says that a teardown, lube, and JM piston seal is in orderfor this baby, and a trigger tune too. So I need to do that. I did shim the breech seal, which brought the velocity up a little and improved the consistency. Back when I was measuring the velocity, I got 850fps with .25cal 19gr Milbro Rhinos. The Rhinos are a great deal which I got from AoA. Each pellet skirt has to be flared a little though. And of course there's always a place for the legendary .25 cal beeman kodiak/H&N Barracudapellet...but I have no velocity/consistency/accuracy data recorded for that pellet. All I can remember is that it works good in the WFH, and has a much different POI than the Rhino.

As far as it being a scope killer...it hasnt killed any of the scopes that I've tried. I've had four different types on it, all springer rated. The one that came with it is IMHO a great scope. So I've tried the stock scope, a BSA 3-12x44AO, Centerpoint 4-16x40AO, and a Leapers 6-24x50AO. The Leapers currently resides on it, and all the other scopes are in use on other springers. I think that you really have to bolt these scopes down, in order to tame any scope killing movement. I use an Accushot 1 pc high mount(with scopestop pin engaged), and another standalone high ring in front of the 1 pc(with scopestop pin engaged). That gives me 2 scopestop pins engaged, plus a lot of support for the scope in general. Thats what works for me. Now with that said, I'm sure that some scopes have been killed by the WFH...just as the 350M has a reputation for that too...sometimes those things happen. Your mileage may vary.

For those that absolutely LOVE springers like I do, and are aware that the WFH IS NOT a pinpoint accurate springer...I think the WFH is something you should try. Its great for pest control like coons(headshot please), skunks, possums, and ground squirrels. I'm not gonna let go of mine. I think 165 bucks is a great deal for the WFH in .22 or .25.

So because you couldn't hit with the B28 you think its not as good of a gun? A lot of people have trouble hitting with magnum springers at first and each one is different, taking practice with the gun to become proficient with it. In my opinion Bam products are far better quality wise than the Turkish made guns, a lot of pro tuners won't even touch the Turkish guns because they have such big variances in tolerances from each run and you can get a tuned B28 from Mike Melick and I can guarantee you it would be a far better shooting gun than a Hatsaan gun. I'm waiting for the B28 to come out in .25 and I will be placing a order with Mike for one of his sweet tuned guns, then having a few inches chopped off the barrel and new crown put on, the B28 is a LONG gun and in my opinion handles better with a shorter barrel, there have been a few guy on here do the same thing and it worked out great.
Mike Melick tuned Bam B26,with  Leapers 4x16x40ao scope,Gene turbo tuned TF89 with Barska 3X12X40A0 scope and More powder burners than you can shake a stick at.                  Gun control is hitting what your aiming at

No I was't saying the B28 isn't a good gun,  just saying I didn't like mine at all.  It was tuned by MM and I had no problem hitting what I was shooting at with the Walther Talon which is a magnum rifle.
Far as tuners not touching Turkish guns I wouldn't know about that. I would hate to think all these airguns need to be tuned before you can shoot them.

Well they don't HAVE to be tuned, but I'm sure you know that it makes them so much smoother to shoot and usually more accurate due to the smoother firing cycle, I have 3 walther firearms that are great guns but I've heard do many bad reviews of the Turkish made guns and no tuners will mess with them that I've shy'd away from them
