That guy we can't mention from the yellow forum makes the ACP for AOA. He has come out with an updated version of the. It has a dual power feature that allows you to adjust velocity by how far back you throw the bolt (two positions - high and low power). Low power setting allows several shots without pumping in between. At least that's his claim. Sounds real interesting...

got the best of me... got a 392 yesterday to complement my 2 C9s... it is a really quiet rifle, and shoots quite strongly with the fiels crosman .22 pointed pellets... I think we will go into the woods today to test it. I am going to leave this one with it's original sights...

I got mine with the peep sight, never used one except on an old slug gun i use to hunt deer with, but that always worked well for me.. my gun is gonna be here monday, And i plan on doing some accuracy testing and posting the results here. Although there is alot of info on many forums on the 392, I haven't seen many groups posted on this forum. I'm sure someone will have the same questions as me later, as far as the accuracy potential of this rifle goes. I wan't to mount a scop but it seems there isn't really a good way to do it. The air venturi mounts seem to make the scope to high for comfortable shooting, and i have seen some pictures where they break the gun. The b-square mount seems flimsy at best. I guess i'll have to get dovetails cut in the reciever. I just hate shipping to gun off where it could recieve damage being delivered. I forgot there is the scout style mount. any of u guys used this mount with sucess?  Thanks for all the info, can't wait to drop some squirrels. I think the benji will be a better squirrel gun than the rs2, which is heavy, and can't be left RTF for long. Although the Rs2 does put them down very well. I hope the benji shoots as good as the rs2. Im hoping for less flyers though. Matt

My 392 is a sweet shooter. I really like the scout mounted scope. Not only does it make pumping easier it also keeps the breach open for easier loading. Downside of a long eye relief scope is the higher the power the smaller the field of view. I use a 2-7 variable power scope usually between 2 to 4 power. 6 or 7 is great for paper target shooting where you don't need a large field of view.
The low mounted scout scope helps keep the compactness of the Benjamin intact. The forward mounted optics makes it easier to keep both eyes open for quicker target acquisition with the fast handling carbine length 392.

The Air Venturi system looks interesting, but I would need to build a new shoulder stock with a high comb to keep my eye in the scope and my cheek on the comb. A compact scope that would keep the area in front of the receiver clear for pumping would be awesome.

Here's a picture of a group I shot awhile back

Great shooting, is your 392 stock? I think the pistol scope looks cool on the benji. Reminds me of an M-14 i saw at a gun shope once. Nice looking gun you got there.

Thanks. The rifle has been tinkered with a bit(I've "tinkered" with about all of my airguns!). I did a little trigger polishing, and a little valve work to make it easier to pump. Simple stuff that about any airgun shade tree mechanic can do. Also reshaped the stock some to make it look more like an old rocker safety Sheridan.

Enjoy you new Benjies guys, and may the multi-pump force be with you!
