Are copperhead BBs still junk?

When I was a kid growing up we found that copperhead BBs were of low quality and accuracy compared to the daisy BBs. Is this still true?

The last time I had some was last year... and they were terrible.
They came packaged with a Walther PPK BB pistol kit I got on sale from Cabelas.  Most were unevenly covered, say 1%-4% un-coated surface area.  I tried "using them up" in a Marksman 1010 (since it isn't all that great itself), but the difference between the Copperheads and Avanti steel shot was very obvious even in that.

I only use copperhead BBs in my BB guns. Work just fine, and give OK accuracy for a BB. Never had a problem with them.

I can't remember where I read it but I saw where the roundness was tested and the coatings were tested.  The Daisy BB's were the better quality.
I was so surprised cuz I shot thousands of Crosman BB's as a kid.
