1377 ....another face lift...
« on: December 18, 2009, 11:22:40 AM »
hi..
had a play with a few bits & peices..
A crossman breech / 14" barrel...
diddn't take a lot of skill ,all off the shelf
componets this time...apart from the
bolt & brake..
Think I'm going to make a stainless main tube
can't keep that polished steel one shinny...

What I have noticed going from the std 10" to the 14"
I use to plink on 3 pumps...but now you have to use 6 pumps
min....longer barrel requires more air or yer get drag down the barrel..
So the longer the barrel I would say the more pumps that will be needed..

And that scopes to short...have to lean yer head to far foward to get the
correct eye relief....
