Vortek drop in Kit
« on: December 30, 2009, 07:54:45 AM »
Hi boys an girls I just wanted to let everyone know that I spoke to Eric at Compasseco this morning and he has told me that a new Vortek drop in kit for the TF89's and 99's is under development as we speak that will eliminate all the spring noise torque and harsh firing cycle [etc] just like it does for all the other guns these kit are made for, you can now look forward to having one in these guns. I just thought everyone would like to know and thier going to also offer a synthetic stock as well for them soon. have a nice day all.

The Beeman sportsman series rifles have a smaller power plant on them compared to the TF guns, but your right Eric told me these new stocks will be simular in design to the beemans

Hey pindog.... the TF 89 and beeman are not nearly the same rifle.... I have owned both and I tried to fit a beeman syn stock to my 89 and found the beeman gun has a shorter compression tube length. the tf 89 is longer by about 3/4 " and the screw holes do not match up.........just my personal experice with these guns

I for 1 cant wait for the stocks, that has been my only complaint about the TF89 is the stock, its finish chips very easily and its not the most comfortable stock in the world, I've been wanting a different stock since day one, but after Gene worked his magic on it, the gun shoots so good that i just love it, if it had a good stock it would be the perfect gun.
Mike Melick tuned Bam B26,with  Leapers 4x16x40ao scope,Gene turbo tuned TF89 with Barska 3X12X40A0 scope and More powder burners than you can shake a stick at.                  Gun control is hitting what your aiming at
