Beeman made other small SS scopes & I have had them all!...This is the lightest weight scope available with Crystal Clear optics and imo, the very best of the SS scopes. This scope has ALL the required pins with it for adj the scope. These are hard to find in Perfect condition early vintage and bought from Beeman's San Rafael... Beeman had this scope designed to be RUGGED!...Beeman's intent was this to be used with the R1 and designed for Air Guns with 5ft to infinity focus AO...those who have shot an R1 know that it can be a Lil jolting compared to our new PCP's. This scope does Not need rings there-by lowering the cross hairs closer to the barrel akin to open sights.
These scopes are probably the only scope that is going up in value. Even Leupy's when sold used go down by approx $100.00 or more.
A Beeman Scope SS-3 sold on ebay last month for $485.00 to a Firearm guy. This is probably the only scope, that if kept in good condition i.e. no scratches etc....will bring the buyer enjoyment to use and they can always get their money back and in a couple of years even more ROI.
