B3-AK47 done!!
« on: December 31, 2009, 06:33:59 AM »
:) HEY EVERYONE ! I GOT MY HOME TUNE DONE ,ON THE AK47 117 I GOT FROM SPORTSMANS, & WITH YOUR HELP MIKE,JEFF,KEVIN, &
IT WENT OK UNTIL I SANDED TOO MUCH OFF THE COCKING FOOT! BUT MIKE WAS NICE TOO SEND A NEW ONE ,THAT WORKED GOOD
I GOT A HONE FROM HARBOR FT. & WENT TO WORK ON THE CHAMBER , HAD A PROBLEM GETTING THE FRONT SIGHT OFF SO CUT IT OFF.
& MADE A MUZZLE BREAK OF PVC C40, & A PLUG CUT DOWN TO FIT 1/4 HOLE OUTLET, THAT MADE THE BARREL 20" LONG & ALLOT QUIT .
& TODAY PUT ON A 4X32 BSA SCOPE & PAINTED ALL BLACK & WILL BEDLINER THE GRIPS & STOCK BUT ONE THING I DID WRONG WAS TO CUT THE SPRING FOR THE TRIGGER TOO GET THE PULL DOWN! THAT DID NOT WORK SO JUST GET USE TOO THE 8+LBS PULL, IT STILL SHOTS VERY GOOD WITH THE STOCK SPRING , THE KIT I GOT FROM S,SUMMIT, I THINK IS TO STRONG FOR ME ANYWAY!

:) SO QUEST LOOK OUT YOUR NEXT!!
BUT GOT THE PARTS FOR THE 1377C /24"BARREL,STEEL BREACH, WIDE FOR ARM,PISTON&SEAL KIT,TOTAL$65-00 .SO WORKING ON THAT NOW.
REGARDS
RON 8)

HAPPY NEW YEAR"2010"

Glad hear it all worked out, well done:) A picture would be great.. once you figure it out is easy.  You will need to check the box at the bottom says "Attach a file after posting" then select the  picture you want in the browser. first making sure its file size is less than 100kb so may need a quick resize before you select it:) Tony.

Glad to hear the tune came out well , congratulations  :)

The trigger should smooth out as you use it.  Mine improved as I shot it over time.....

Great to hear from you :) .
yep with my long arms I had too make it longer, you know the part where he has put in an allen head bolt in the back?? well I did the same 1 after burning up 3-4 drill bit's & 2 tip's,
but I put in a 5/16 bolt, so it's not going any where! the hard part was drilling out the pin for the loose barrel ! that bent in half.
need to get together & cronogragh see what a tune one put's out ! I've had to take mine apart so much I did not lock anything up yet.
He free floated the Barrel ! mine was free
floating anyway! set's about1/8 or more high.
I'ed like to cron' the TF97 & just bust some can's & stuff, I'm not to fond of the bedliner
paint, may repaint?.  :) Also got a bike in the repair shop now, so air gun on back burnner lol
Happy new year KCirrie
