Whatta start for 2010............

I like the "10" idea and even more the "X" that some are calling it.

Going to try and post some pix after I share my air...........................;-))

It was a dark and windy night...........ooops, wrong intro - It was indoors last Th after work. Back into the Th range thing. Hung a 10m tgt and proceeded to shoot like an idgit..................73. About like the 9 ring and better had an anti matter module installed. Nuttin' above an 8. Oooookay, let's try this again. Mustered an 87 with an X for a partial redemption, relatively speaking. Went to the Model 41 Smith and proceeded to set a new record for myself at NRA 50' SF..............79 - worst tgt in memory. Either really good or atrocious shots. Shot another 10 with a 41 I picked up over the holidays and its trigger must be in the 6# range - I wasn't loading the trigger enough before final squeeze. Not what I was used to. Don't remember that score as it was not centered as it was the first target attitude rounds I had fired after picking it up so didn't know where it was shooting in my hand.

I do like to tell a story don't I?? Big Smiley..............

Anyhoo, raked and burned this AM as the unusual Fall wetness had a lot of limbs and cabbage palm fronds in a pile that had finally dried. Tidied up a good portion of the drive and did a bit of trimming to boot. Came in and checked the 'puter of course. Put some Ramen soup on and decided to step outside again into the 35° occasionally breezy, weather and let 10 fly with the 46M.

So usual drill for me is to shoot from abt 6' in the garage to the tgt stand out back. Tried to talk Wifey into an indoor setup today but boy, did I ever get "The Look". As I said, I wuz outdoorz.

First shot was abt 20% short of a pinwheel - kinda got a bit pumped but reigned in my emotions as I'd been to this dance before and ended up with the 220 pounder with zits and scraggly hair.............under the arm pits. Didn't notice any flyers and seemed that a bit of light was seeping thru the center area. Did notice a wide shot that I hoped would make an 8.

OK...............bottom line for those who don't want to hear about the birth pains, just want the baby...........97 w/2X's. I had switched to some Anshutz pellets recently purchased, 4.49 mm but wgt not marked on the Finale tin.

Irons, one hand, outdoors, 46M.

Don't know which one(s) you count as the Th scores were first, followed by this "Suitable for Framing" tgt. It is what it is and whatever will be is fine by me. Still gotta whittle on the grips, just too much meat from front to back.

Thanks to Gamo2Hammerli for the detailed directions for posting - hope it works.

Helllllppppppppppp...........how do I get things back to normal size??

When I scanned into a file, I blew up the file to see if I could see any scoring rings. I just revisited that file and everything comes up as it first did - in a normal size. But we all know it sure didn't transmogrify that way, don't we?

Sure am glad I'm not paying the shipping and handling on the bandwidth for this one.............

If anyone can try to help me bring this back down to bite size, knowing I am not anywhere near the savvy word with computers, well, it would appreciated in a LARGE way
