.25 Cal Marauder
« on: January 19, 2010, 05:07:01 AM »
I see Crosman has an ad banner on their site for the .25 Marauder  :)  it only  pops up for a second or 2 and there's no link for further info, but it does list the fps as 925 ...

Jeff,

I got my Crosman catalog the other day and it does list the velocity at 925 with an asterisk.  On the bottom of the page it states that those velocities were obtained with their non lead alloy pellets.  So who knows what you can get with a lead pellet.?

i feel that the most we could expect is at least mid 600,s at the cal but if its a condor then its different but majority rifles  only reach mid to low 600,but they r powerful a marauder would be nice to experince ...

The new .25 caliber Benjamin Marauder air rifle is a powerhouse of sophistication and quiet accuracy shooting at velocities greater than 850 fps. It provides a commanding 80% increase over the .22 caliber Marauder, with its 45 ft-lbs of kinetic energy per shot. The choked, internally shrouded barrel delivers precision and hushed operation, while it's indexing, eight-round clip allows for faster follow-up shots. Performing flawlessly at a variety of fill pressures, the .25 caliber Marauder rifle offers quicker fill time, using either compressed air or the CO2, DUAL FUEL® option. It has a finished hardwood stock with ambidextrous raised comb and custom checkering. The built-in pressure gauge displays the gun's level of fill and the two-stage adjustable, match-grade trigger improves accuracy.

If thats the case they better put another shift on at the plant that makes 'em cuz theyz' gunna be busy, and some of these pellet makers better get on the ball too

Hmmm so the .25 has an 8 pellet clip.....I wonder if that barrel can be swapped over? Geez I'm thinkin' like a condor owner now..lol

Would rather see an Evanix AR6 in .25 cal. That should have a lot of power, built well and very nice looking rifle.
