A big thanks to Ron Bradford for a great time today!
« on: January 23, 2010, 04:41:01 PM »
Ron is a great host to the NTAGM he never fails in providing us with a great area to get our plink on!Even though it was rainy and windy at times I had a great time as always!Ron even put out his new targets for us to use and I have to say that I did find the Noteworthy Targets were a blast, and this realy cool steel crow that when you shoot in the head the head flips back then you shoot a small 1/2" reset paddle under it's feet and the head pop's back up,I will have to get me one for my yard now thanks Ron!But realy it is always nice to get this group of realy great guy's together, we always have such a good time and I can't  wait till this springs shoot-N-eat  and maybe someone will bring a camera because I don't think anyone took any pictures this time we were just to busy plinking around!

Second that. Ron has a great backyard for shooting, and he is a gracious host (I tried to get him to sit down and shoot some, but he wouldn't sit still). And additional thanks to Ron's wife, who successfully organized and supervised our rain canopy set-up procedures. Even with the rain-shortened day, it was a real fun outing with the NTAGM guys.

I think you missed out on the motorized "Running Deer" target. Ron explained that it stopped working because somebody shot one of the nuts off. Now that's a goood shot...! The Headless Crow and heavy metal Quad Target were mine that I got from SteelPlinkers.com. David Enoch had them out at the last couple shoots, and I just had to have them. A bit pricey, but well worth it.  Pomona Aiir Guns also sells them.

Always good to see the NTAGM group.  Enjoyed it very much.  Course already looking forward to the next time, figured we can squeeze one more in before the April shoot.  Hopefully I will have the challenge tree modified to actually work with airguns.
