***Airwolf

.

The Airwolf is supposed to have a feature where the power level can be decreased in 16 steps to let you tailor the pellet speed to pellet weight.

Seems a bit oversold to me, as these results show.

I am disappointed.

This is also in my continually edited saga of my Airwolf in the Airgun review section.

----------------------------------------

.177 airwolf power levels programmed in the computer unit for the trigger

this sucks for 16 power levels

Used Gamo Match pellets [7.5g] because I have a lot of them and they're only good for stuff like this.

power levelfpe
----------------------------------
0..........17.2

1..........15.7

2..........12.1

3...........8.8

4...........4.8

5...........1.3

6stuck in barrel

7-15 wasted

Hay Ed,

I don't know anything about the Airwolf, but it looks to me that you might need lighter pellets ? he..he

Perhaps levels 6 - 15 are for those little plastic green pellets. only kidding, I couldn't resist, i'm sorry !

Have you called anyone to find out why your rifle is doing this ?

So far I've gotten "they're all different, ya know."

Yeah, but shouldn't I have a range that at least doesn't stop at 5 out of 15?

We'll see what happens.
