Crosman will get them in stock soon enough, they usually do.  RJMachine sounds like he's not running any anytime soon, and I have no clue about Crooked Barn.  There's also Grant Stace making his brand of breach and they are NICE!!!

Have a look at those.  I have no idea what his production times are, or how many he runs at once, but you can bet I'll order one before too long and it'll be worth the wait.

As far as I know the the steel breach for a 1377 is the same breach as for a 2240, only difference is one has a .22 cal bolt and the other a .177 bolt....same breach, just different bolts in the kits.  Even though the tube diameter for the 13XX guns is 3/4" and the tube on a 22XX gun is 7/8" Crosman only makes one breach size....and it's cut to fit the 22XX guns, and fits the 13XX guns, but can be a bit wobbly.  I've installed them on both with no ill effects....oh and they also make a short breach for the Custom Shop guns, but it's the same afaik...the 2250XT breach is steel too...maybe you could order it using that part number?  Once I called Crosman to order a breach, they said "out of stock", then I went on their website and ordered one from their custom accessories page, and guess what...a few days later I got a breach in the mail....the shipping was more, but I was also able to order trigger shoes and other stuff you can't normally order via Crosman Customer Support...go figure.  There is a MWD breach I think it's called that had a rectangle channel rather than a ball cut in the base, it will fit either with no wobble...., but I don't know where to get one, I've only handled one and that was for a gun I built for someone else...they provided the parts...that coulda been a short production thing as it also had a .25 cal barrel.

Anyways, whatever you want will eventually turn up.  I think Dave still has a gun with an RJMachine breach in the classifieds for sale on here too:)
