So I got back from my scouting trip with my buddy where I pegged the crow. I took a lunch break and headed out again on a recon mission. I was out about 2 hours and it was getting really overcast and cold since a rain storm is rolling in. I'm just getting ready to call it a day when out of the corner of my eye I spot this big nutter sitting on a rock! I went into stealth mode and used a rock pile for cover. Got within range and took aim with my trusted 2250. I put the mil-dot right on the back shoulder area since the bugger was looking away from me. I gently squeezed the trigger and popped the bad boy in the brain stem! It slid off the rock in slow motion. I walked up and it was trying to roll over man those rats are tough! I put another pellet in so I could end the suffering. Then took the trophy pic.
