That review link that CitySniper posted was a real good read, those are the kind of numbers I"m looking for.

Part one review posted today for the Trail XL by B.B. It's a good read and I hope part two is out soon.

Oh, I like this part, "...It's tastefully checkered on the forearm and pistol grip, and and the Benjamin name is carved into the bottom of the forearm. Crosman told me they never want anyone to have to hunt for a Benjamin in a rifle rack ..."

Shoot, if that's true why does my 392 not have BENJAMIN carved into the stock? It doesn't have the Benjamin name anywhere, but I digress...

Anyway, the new Benjamin NP rifles sound like winners! Ilike the look of the laminate thumbhole stocks.

I'm going to wait as well, but in the end I'll probably wind up ordering the XL 11 model.

In the meantime I just finished ordering my birthday present.... a new .22 Disco fro P.A.  Should be here in a couple of days  :)

I love my .177 Disco so much I just had to have it's mate :)

Crosman almost ruined the good Benjamin name by slapping it on the Super Streak. Kind of like New Beeman/Old Beeman, if you know what I mean. They're FINALLY getting around to making the break barrel a decent gun. How about some of that fancy checkering on the pumpers? After all, those are the rifles that have kept Crosman afloat until the Nitro clan.

Matt,,, I'm really looking forward to getting the .22 disco.  I love my Marauder, I love my Condor and  I love my Talon but I have to say when I take my .177 Disco out hunting it's just such a pleasure to hunt with.  Light, comfortable, easy to maneuver  with, I just love it.... so I just had to get it in .22 cal  :)

The other thing that I absolutely love about the disco is that with my 80 cf scuba tank filled to 3000 psi I get 88 fills if I shooting from 2000 to 1000 psi.  If I get the tank filled to 3300 psi I get 104 fills.  That's a mess of shooting  :)   I'm actually gonna pick up another scuba tank next week.... that will give me 176 fills at 3000 psi and 208 fills if I fill the tank to 3300 psi.....   :)

Man, wish i could afford a tank. Eventhough without a tank the disco is nothing to fill with a pump. If i can ever get a marauder, i bet it will be a real pain to fill.

I fill my Marauder with the pump every once in a while and it's really not bad at all.  My Marauder is set up for a 2500 psi fill and I'll use the pump to top off the tank after a day of hunting or a short target shooting session and to get the rifle back up to 2500 or even 2700 psi really isn't bad with the pump.  If you are filling it to 3000 psi every time I guess it would be some work and of course it goes without saying that  going from almost empty (they are shipped with a slight fill) to full on the very first fill will be a workout for sure.  But after that if you top off the tank after 20 or 30 shots it shouldn't be so bad....

Jeff, I have the NPSS in 177 (primarily target with a little fun pest removal thrown in). Other than the triger (ordering CDT trigger this week) its been a GREAT gun. Comfy stock, super easy cocking quiet and more accurate than i am!!
Benji Silver Streak, Crosman 1377 and the New Crosman NPSS!
