painting the stock?
« on: February 24, 2010, 06:44:38 AM »
I think this may offend certain people here, but I am curious if anyone has painted, or put a coating of some kind, on the wood stock and had it turn out good?  I like the specs of the Benjamin trail NP XL alot.  ALOT.   I'm just not to sure I like the wood stock look.  So I'm trying to figure out if its even feasable to do?

Thanks in advance,
Scott

Yep, airbrush maestro.

I'm working on one now myself. Will strip it down to bare wood before spraying. Follow up with a satin clear. Some folks use spray-on truck bedliner.

Gerald, excellent job. You taking that one to Africa on safari? LOL

Looks good!!!!

WoW.... Nice work Shadow, Those are Beautiful! How much do you normally charge for something like that? I have a Gamo CFX that I tried to do a desert camo scheme on and it looks like childsplay compared to your work.
