The Centerpoint scopes on the NPSS look exactly like The HAWKE Airmax aside from the Map 6 Recticle.
Carbon copy from the outside.

Rick,

Good find ! Yes, the AO one in your link is exactly like the outside of the Centerpoint scope that came with my Trail XL. The rectical is very similar except my Centerpoint has three fine tick marks on all the crosshairs. The Hawke has three each side and bottom, but only two on the top crosshair.

Makes me wonder if that means Hawke's ballistic software will work with this scope's tick marks ????

They are great.

Yeah, I gotta get one too. So wrapped up with this bad seal I forgot.

Paul,
Geeze how much more NOT CLEAR can selecting a scope be....TS or not to TS...that is the question.  Whether tis nobler to choose the TS or choose another is a peril we must bear with the knowledge gained from our fellow GTA'rs.

Ray,
Yes, unlike the Superstreak, you don't need a spring compressor with the ram.

Make a spanner wrench to fit the end cap holes, or, for now, I put two, short  #1 Philiups screw drivers in the holes and  held them together as I put a larger screw driver between them to lever the cap loose.

Be very careful. The end cap is in quite tight and it's made out of plastic.  A properly fitting spanner wrench would be much safer to use on the plastic end cap. Especially for those not used to working with tools every day. I'll be making one up for this gun out of  bar stock and rod, when I get to work.

Then unscrew the back cap a few turns and the pe- load is off the ram. Finish unscrewing the end cap. The cap, thin  washer, the end seat for the ram, and ram all fall out. Remove the piston and proceed like you would with a coil spring powered gun.

Paul.

I also ordered a  GRT III trigger, new Leapers scope and UTG premium rings for my Trail. They should all be arriving this week.
