That's ok. You will get many offers from TV stations & Media companies for an interview with the only people to domesticate a Cupachabra!! I say let her do her thing but be ware of diseases

Those companies (and magazines) pay pretty well for interviews. Just don't sign anything that says they are the exclusive owner of your story.
I will give you some advice for free buddy. Pay attention and put the beer down. You will thank me later
Do NOT turn in the Chupacabra right away after capturing it. Call the Media giants like NBC, CBS, ABC, etc. and tell them what you have and how much $ are they offering to be allowed on your property and film it and ask you questions. Shop around and see who offers the most. Tell them they will be the 1st ones to film a live Chupacabra, but don't agree that they will be the only ones afterwards. That way you get some more $ from the other stations for subsequent interviews. Send them these same pics you sent us or other better ones if you have them. Do not agree for them to film it or confirm it's a "new breed" or whatever before they pay you. Get the $ up front and it's probably best to have your own lawyer present.
Do NOT notify the authorities right away, because they (Wildlife or Health Dept., etc.) will come over and confiscate the animal and then you will get nothing. They have the right to do that under various health laws. You should be able to get at least $10K from the Media company that does the 1st interview and releases the story first. Do not settle for a dime less and start @ $30K so you have room for negotiation. I only ask for a 10% consulting fee of all proceeds which is below the 15-20% norm

or you can pay for my ticket so I can fly out there and do some shooting and drinking with you
I 'd be honored to act as your Agent on your behalf and do the $ negotiating and booking of interviews and meetings with the big Media companies. If you are camera shy I will sit in for you
