looks like a great airgun but i have seen many different reviews some negative and some positive but its a 50/50 and thats what pushes me away at times but this video looked good .i was reading many reviews on this airrifle but now im getting mixed feelings about this airgun so im gonna stick with probably gonna wait until i see more stable reviews cause many reviews have been turned around, first they like them then a few days later they find out problems r occuring so purchasing this airrifle has now put me in a hold on mode hehehehe i cant afford to spend money and then regret it later ...the airrifle did go through the book and u know that those pages together r strong then hit the block was awsome power i will like to know what types of grouping this airrifle could give at 35 or 40 yds with a .22 cal ....jorge.

Darius, the seal issue is with most all production guns made in Span,China and other countries. The problem is the tubes are stamped out. If the tooling is worn and it does wear, they will leave small burrs in the tube. In the process of putting the seal and piston in the tube the tiny burs will slice little chunks out of the seals. You do not see this in the Euro guns but Spanish and Chinese it is always and fissure.

In my quest to find out what Crosman had come up with in the NPSS and Trail NP I found that the NPSS was more refined. I found that the NPSS had gone through an extra step before the piston and seal were installed. They reamed the back portion of the tube where all the cut outs are for the trigger and cocking slot. This is a first. That is another reason I would buy an NPSS over a Trail NP.

THE ONES I SLEEP WITH: BSA Lightning XL, AA TX-200, AA ProSport, BSA Ultra, HW-97K, Crosman NPSS .177, FX Cyclone, HW-30 Nicle Plated, AA-S200, Crosman Marauder, CZ-634, R-9 DG, Webley/Scott UK Tomahawk, Benji Kantana, Benji Marauder, Benji Discovery.....

Gene,
So what you are saying is.....The Remington NPSS (made in USA) does not have these problems..

I was really considering buying one of these guns a few weeks ago, And I am pretty Happy that I decided to wait and see what happened with them. I bought the Disco instead.. :D  now i want the marauder

But if the nitro pistons turn out to be good, I still would like to grab one and keep a nice break barrel.

I am not saying that the NP is not a good gun but simply that the power plant in my opinion is a better build quality wise. Sorry Crosman but that is the way I see it..:)
