GRT-III trigger on Gamo 440
« on: April 14, 2007, 03:55:42 AM »
I just recently installed a $31 GRTIII trigger on my $119 Gamo 440 from Natchez.  The GRTIII trigger was from http://www.charliedatuna.com.

My Gamo 440 is like a dream gun now.  I can't get over how smooth the GRTIII trigger is.  Installing it was easy, and I am not usually good at stuff like that.

If you have a Gamo and want to make the trigger smooth as silk, get the GRTIII!

Hay Tim,

I know how you feel, that GRT-III trigger I put on my Gamo 890 S was the best money I have ever spent, ever.

Charlie's trigger can really turn a sows ear into a silk purse

Are you a Target shooter or a Hunter Tim ? or both ?

Mainly small game hunting, although with a shotgun.  I had not shot any kind of rifle in years.  I live on several acres, and we had a lot of squirrels this past year on the property.  However, I have neighbors close enough to where I did not want to hunt with a "real" gun while on my property, so my son and I got into air rifles.  My son and I hunted this past season taking turns with a Daisy 22sg pumper.

I was not familiar with the 1000fps break opens until now.  I am impressed!  I went through 3 Walmart Crosmans (returned them all) before getting the Gamo.  I am happy with the Gamo.

I'm target practicing now to get the technique down with the double recoil springer, so I'll be ready to pick off Mr. Squacks with the Gamo when the season comes back around.
