I called AOA today, my 2 week old order would not ship for another 2-3 weeks. So I cancelled the Order. Called Straightshooters, and my gun is shipping out today, along with a scuba charging set. I received my PA order today with everything else, scope, premier heavy's, single shot tray, and female quickadapter.
Lets get this ball rolling.

I received my Marauder .177 yesterday and this is my first Impression.
Its built big, the grip is very large, it gets a little heavy after you add a large leapers scope.
Nice Gun, shoots nice, finished well. The shroud was against one side of the Barrel band.
I reset the barrel band, it looks like its barely touching the top of the shroud.
I shot about 50 rounds, last night indoors at 12 yards, to sight it in and check it out.
I didn't shoot any CP heavy's yet, but the CPHP's and the HN field Target Trophy's made one hole.
It is very quiet.

This thing is a blast too shoot.
I will post a follow up with pictures this weekend.

I did not wanna say anything until I ordered mine, and was sure it was in stock. BUT why not order from Pyramyd Air? $469.97  subtract 10% code = $422.97
they have the .177, and .22 right now!

.25 should be available next week according to their site. (4-2-10)

Just personal choice.
I like to buy guns from smaller stores when I can.
Also, I needed a charging set, the 1 I wanted was back ordered for weeks at PA.
Everything worked out great. I recommend Straight Shooters.

Cool..As long as the customer is happy that is all that matters. I just checked out that straightshooters website...It looks pretty organized and well put together, and there is a number that is a plus. I have no problem doing business with the little guy as long as the service is up to par.

Shot some CPH tonight, first ten shots were a one hole group at 20 yards.

If a NPSS is a noise rating of 2 on PA web site.
Then the M-rod should be a noise rating of 1.
It is much quieter then my NPSS.

OK Gene, heres the pics.
I have put about 250 rounds through it since Wednesday and am very happy with the M-rod in .177.
I have played with the trigger settings, but no air settings.
I am happy it has a 19 inch barrel, which makes it more like a carbine compared to an Blizzard S10 or an AR4.
It shoots CPH and Benji HP the best.
The RWS SuperDomes shoot GREAT when I use the SS tray. I think the skirts get damaged while pushing them into the clip with a toothpick.
The 4-16x50 Leapers works very well for the money. I love the reticle, the red seems a little bright, the green is just right IMOA.

The Tank I got off Craigs List for $40, and the guy gave me the industrial stainless tank dolly for FREE. It even has rear wheels that hold itself up.
The scrap wood frame holds the dolly in place while driving, and lifts it up higher.

Did I mention how much fun it was to shoot?

Well Rick you have quite a nice setup there. Glad you mentioned the good price on the tank. Lots of guys cannot afford a new $150.00 $200.00 scuba tank right off the bat. One of nicest things about the Maurader, Disco and Kantana is the low fill...:) Makes for lots of fills compared to the 3000 psi Blizzards, Air Arms and FX rifles..:) I am still on my one tank from last summer..:) By the way ShadowShot came over today and we filled the Disco up a couple times..:) Still have over 2500 psi left in the scuba tank. Anyway Congratulations on your new M-Rod buddy. Let us know how you fair wit playing with the pressure settings.

Rick,

Nice looking setup for sure. With any luck, I will have a very similar setup in the near future.

That's a bargain for the tank, I just paid $100 for a 80 Cu. Ft. tank with a good recent hydro and visual. I'll be setup without a PCP to shoot.......I will have to remedy that ASAP.

Oh lord, I like what I'm reading. How many pumps (approx.) to fill a Marauder? I have no idea.

It's quite a work out to fill it the first time since it has just a small fill when you get first get it, but after that first fill it's really not to bad to just top it off after shooting a 30 or 40 shot string.

Thanks for the response, although I am still unsure of the pumping required since I have no experience with any of these PCP rifles. I understand what you mean about the initial pumpup required. So how much pumping (strokes or maybe minutes?) to "top it off" after shooting 30 to 40 rounds?
