"Special" lube?

I remember reading somewhere of an airgun lube mixture of moly and engine oil. Now I can't find it. Does anyone know what this particular formula is?

Gene Sundays Mystery Oil ….

About Genes Sundays Mystery Oil. That’s not his terminology, but mine. The formula is a closely guarded secret, however he probably won’t mind my letting you in on it. Take one tablespoon of Moly grease and mix it thoroughly with two ounces of 30wt non-detergent motor oil. Shake well. Serve as needed. Use sparingly on any metal to metal surfaces. Remember, a little of Moly goes a long way.

This formula is great for getting cheap powder burners to fire consistently.  I use it often when I smith guns and it works great on pistols, and shotguns that people tend to shoot until they get real hot.  It stays good and smooth when normal gunoil has already burned off.  Love it!!!!

Not for springers, at least not for the spring or seal. No petroleum distillates inside the gun. They will make it diesel which leads to component damage and failure.
