3rd for the 400

Hy guys,I said that I'd give another try to my new hide this morning too and there I was.Surprisingly there were some more crows,not enough aware of the previous day danger,that were roosting and fighting.I didn't shoot at them immediately cos last nigh I increased a bit the power of my S400 to achieve longer shots,I'm not a sniper but I menaged to hit consistently an apple sized target(3") at 80 yards(...of course I've got some flyer,I'm still shooting with cheap Gamo promagnum,awaiting the JSB Exact to be delivered ).So I practiced a bit on the field and when I rezeroed it properly I searched someone to play with.The following dude got nailed at 35 yards while hewas waiting for friends(now he has at least two more from yesterday...).

That's more than I could wish and I'm very pleased with the capability of that rifle.

Great shot at that Crow with your .22 AA S400 Classic.  Wow...a head-shot.....that put his lights out pretty fast.  Great photos too.

Nice looking rifle.  And wow,,,shots at 60 and 70 yards,,,wow.  I never venture past 40.  Good shooting.   Nice idea of a blind.  One needs every edge possible for crows.  And the crows,,,,didn't know they came in black and white.  I've only seen all black.  Black and white looks good,,,,still pests tho.

Thanks guys,I'm pushed to shoot from that far 'cos crows here are da*n smart and won't come closer even if I'm in the blind (pest's 6th sense...) so the only wat is to nail them from afar(of course I'm bit proud of that distance     ).I'll give it another try today  or sunday morning,wish me good luck!

Love the blind, bet that works very well for you. Have you tried any bait out in the field?

I just thought to bait them till now.Time ago I spoke with the landowner about leaving a death rabbit beside the field(50 yards from the blind),he agreed ',so I'll try out this way but I need to be there twice a day to grab any chanche(or in one week it'll rot completely).I'll keep you informed,
