When I'm in a dangerous area, like Philadelphia, I carry my Schrade Uncle Henry.

If I venture into Camden or Newark, I take my Walter PPKS with two magazines, loaded with fmj ammo.

If I go to Chicago, I take my 45 a.c.p. Gold Cup and three magazines, also loaded with fmj ammo !

I let the threat determine what I take with me.

With all due respect Big Bill, how do you carry in Chicago? Ex LEO? I'm just curious, I thought getting caught meant a free trip to Joliet.I'm right over the line in Indiana and it's a pain to remember to dis-arm when crossing the border.

On my person Ruger P97DC in .45 with 3 mags of CorBonDPX's and backup Walther P22.  In vehicle I carry a Winchester 1300 defender in 12 guage decked out with all the goodies. An old man told me once that a pistol is only to buy you time until you get to something bigger so I always carry something bigger.

my wife carries a .22 mag derringer ( 5-shot) in her jacket pocket and a beretta .25 auto in her purse.  great little guns with no recoil for a lady.  i know everyone thinks that is small caliber but my wife knows how to shoot "center-mass" with "hot" ammo......but .177 is small caliber also and look at the damage we do with it.... :emoticon:
