All set up with nothing to fill............

I have finished up my Fill station and I am ready to order a Marauder. (my first PCP rifle) I don't know if I did this in the right order or not. I have got to hide the tank in the closet, because it makes the wait much harder seeing the tank just sitting there waiting to fill something. I guess it would be a little more frustrating having a new rifle in hand and not have a way to fill and shoot it....

Looks good.  And trust me, it's WAAAAAY more frustrating to have it the other way 'round :-)!  Bought a used AA S400 awhile back without a fill adapter, rifle and adapter arrived on a Friday.  The adapter was the wrong one!  Later.

Looks good.
One thing to keep in mind.
The Fill Calculators don't take bleed off into account.
The longer your hose is, The more air you will loose to bleed off, and it is significant.
One thing you can do is ask the person who fills your tank, to fill it to 3200psi.
The shop I go to doesn't mind at all.

Excellent choice on the M-rod.
Mine has exceeded my expectations and is a nice PCP for the money.

You got the horse ahead of the cart..:) That is good and Dave is right about what he said. Many of us have done it in reverse..:) And Rick is correct about the hose length and also diameter of hose. the fatter and longer a hose is the more air is wasted on bleed off.

I did take some volume loss for hose length into account. I went with a small hose that has a .080" I.D. but it is 3 ft. long. There is a trade-off between connection convenience and air savings. In the end, I plan to set up a pneumatic booster pump to replenish the SCUBA tank. I am working on getting one now, I just have to negotiate a good price. I would love to get a High pressure compressor some day, but it is just not in the budget at this time.

Yeah, I did it backwards also. I wanted to make sure that the used tank I got for $40 was going to pass testing, before I spent the money on the M-rod.
Cheap tank, and cheap PCP rifle, cuz I'm cheap.
If you are talking about the same Booster pump  I have seen that uses a 100psi compressor.

I don't think they use it to refill the scuba tank, I think they use it to get more fills from the scuba tank.
They do allot of shooting at matches, and charge the whole shooting team with it.

If your clamp came with a 12 inch hose, hang on to it.  Iam sure it is 2mm also.
Then keep track of how many fills you get with your 3 foot hose.
Keep in mind that degassing your M-rod will use up allot of fills.
I always leave 2000 psi in mine.

That booster pump requires 500# minimum inlet on the high pressure (fill) side and normal shop compressor air for the low pressure (drive) side.  I e-mailed the seller and that is what he told me.

Thats right, you could use your scuba tank down to 500 psi with the booster , instead of refilling @ 2000 (in my case).
Thats how they get many  more fills from the tank.

No, I am not looking at that booster pump, I am looking at a commercial booster. It is the same concept though. In the Industry, we call it a "scavenge" system. You can't fill to required pressure all at once from atmosphere, but you can in steps. What I am planning to do is a series of scavenges with a series of tanks until I get to 3000+ psi. I am looking to buy a 25:1 booster with a 6000 psi High pressure rating.

The booster example that you listed may be a pretty economical option though. It is fairly inexpensive compared to the commercial boosters.
