Well, I was having second thoughts about my .22 Benjamin Trail XL. I ordered that and a F-1 chronograph from Midway back in April using my birthday pricing. Both were on back order, with a projected arrival date of June for the Trail. Well it turned out my chrono had a loose wire on the battery plug, which I soldered back in place Sunday. I figured I better call and cancel the chrony since mine worked again and save the $70. Plus my feet were getting cold about the Trail and I was really considering canceling the entire order. I figured I didn’t need another magnum rifle and I was looking at PCP tank or the Marauder I’ve been drooling over.
When I talked to the lady at Midway today, she told me the Benji’s arrived in stock and I could still cancel if I wanted. A few agonizing seconds later I said “No, go ahead and ship it to me, just cancel the chronograph, pleaseâ€. Its shipping out today UPS ground and should arrive Monday the 10th. Grand total with S&H and the NRA round up was $241. Not too bad of a deal. So cold feet or not here it comes. I will post some pictures, chrony numbers and my initial impressions when it arrives.
